Hi All,
Over the past number of weeks I've helped out a few friends and family members in restructuring their finances to put themselves on a sounder financial footing. I must admit that I got a lot enjoyment from what I did and a great deal of satisfaction. Several mentioned that I should take it on as a part time jobs and advertise my services for a small fee.
I had not really thought of this before but is there really a market for such a job out there and if so how would I go about looking into it?
Thanks in advance.

not sure I like the sound of "The_Hurricane" sorting out my financial affairs. Sounds like it could get a bit messy

You'll get blown away when you realise how many regulations you could be breaking by giving financial advice !0

Loving the puns guys

On a serious note, is there any avenue I could explore on this as it does appeal to me?0 -
Becoming a Financial Advisor presumably?
As has been said, giving financial advice is a regulated industry and you need to show you are properly qualified to do so, abiding by the regulations etc.
Are you just recommending financial products (eg switch your account to X) or also talking about general money savings etc as well?0 -
I would give it a while to see if this "restructuring" that you have done helps in the long term.
Also friends and family do not often sue when you get it wrong, strangers usually do.0
