can i claim tax credits from a care of address

can i claim working tax credits from a care of address?

  • You certainly can but be aware that if there are other adults at that address you may get questioned as to who they are/what relationship to you etc. As long as its all above board then there would be nothing to worry about :)

This question often pops up for me too, cos all my dd's mail goes missing from her address, we have to use my address although she doesn't live here. Even though we tell them it's a c/o address because of the postie being a prat, they still have her down as living here, even though the HB goes through at her address.
