Unclaimed paypal payment?

Hi All,

I bought some boots off ebay and paid immediately after the listing ended. My paypal payment is showing as 'unclaimed'. The seller was a new one with 0 feedback. I took a chance, we've all got to start somewhere right?

Anyway, I suspect it's unclaimed as they do not have a paypal account....would you send them a very polite email, noting it is unclaimed and just politely pointing them in the right direction iyswim?

It's very early days yet and I'm willing to be patient and maybe help guide them along (in a nice way).

Any other advice?

Im having exactly the same problem, new seller 0 feedback and the payment is sat unclaimed. the seller has sent me the item and I have left feedback but I am now pestering him about the payment being unclaimed. He thinks I paid by eCheque and has reassured me it will clear in 9 working days time... I didn't I paid by Paypal.

I've asked eBay and they have checked the transaction, they can see nothing wrong with it from my end they have confirmed that I paid by Paypal, they looked at the sellers SYI form and said the mistake is on there that is why the payment is sat unclaimed.

All we can do is pull the sellers contact information, and call them.. I hope you have more luck with this than me as I cant get an answer off my seller. They need to check their Paypal details and if possible send a new request.

Thanks for responding. Happy to report it's all sorted now and payment showing as completed. I sent a polite email, pointing out that it may just be a typo and she sorted it out very quickly.
