This is from EON but (assuming the meters are the same) it explains all the different screens:

4872.58 kwh is how much has been used since the meter was installed. (swan John sounds like he knows more about this than me though)

Go back later and it will have risen. The difference between the 2 figures is the amount you've used in that amount of time.

There should also be a ‘charge p/kwh’ (not sure of the exact terminology) this is the amount you are charged per unit used.

You need to find out what the per kwh unit charge and also if there are 2 figures. If you have an E7 meter there will be one rate for the day and one for night.

BG’s London prices for PPM should be
13.6p per KWH on a standard meter or
17.91p for the day rate and 6.84p for the night rate on an E7 meter.

Charge p/w £0001.19 - This is the weekly inc VAT standing charge. BG charge you 16.99p pence per day on top of any actual usage. This is the British gas Clear and Simple pre payment standing charge.

For comparison if you were with EDF the standing charge per day would be 18.9 compared to 16.99 with BG and the unit rate would be 13.86 compared to 13.6 with BG. BG are the cheapest supplier in the London region for electricity only prepayment at the industry standard typical consumption.
