hello all ,
just a quick question on how change of circumstances might affect if i go as a couple. Im currently on Incapacity and DLA so the first question is .....
Do I need to tell them if i change from single to couple???
Will i lose any about off money ?
the person i might go with is not disabled or anything so i cant see why i did to as it not a joint claim
any help would be great
thanks

I know you have to inform them of ANY changes however insignificant they may seem.
Hope this helps.
Stopped doing it for a while, need to get back into this!

DLA won't be affected as its not means tested, if you are still getting incap Ben you will be changing to ESA soon and you will have to tell them you are not single any more as you will either go on to income related or contribution based, depending on the household income.
But you have to inform them as soon as you are not single any more.0
