I popped into Homebase today and I picked up 4 Hyacinth Baskets.

They are really lovely ... A beautiful wicker basket with a handle with 6 Hyacinths inside.. I think I'll plant the hyacinths in the garden and keep the baskets for filling with Christmas goodies this year. They are perfect for that!

The original cost was £17.50 and they cost me £3.00

I also bought 2 Harvesting Trugs, which have herb seeds and compost. They are made of wicker and they too, cost £17.50 and reduced to £5.00.

I bought other odds and sods, which my OM could hardly fit in the car.. but I managed!

It's maybe worth popping into see if there are any in your own area.

Cheers

Been to my local one this morning and whilst they had a lot reduced, it wasn't by much or was not good value.
    Examples:
Very battered and corroding zinc planters £20 down to £2.50
Wooden raised bed kits with 2-3 missing planks £49.99 down to £35
18" x 24" glazed terracotta pots with very big chips in several places £20 down to £5. Only plants reduced were fake coloured heather down to a £1 and they had no soil testing kits in stock which is what I went in for :(
