Car Bodyshop Bad Respray

Hi Guys,

I have recently had my vehicle in the body shop for repair however I am unhappy with the result. They resprayed the drivers front wing along with the driver door (to help blend in the colour) however the wing and the door does not blend in with the rear quater panel and you can notice it quite a lot. It is a silver colour and they say that it is difficult to match?

On the other side they resprayed the rear quater panel to cover up a couple of deep scratches but again this looks very odd compared to the passenger door. I am not very happy with the result and was wondering what the best thing would be to do?

I was thinking of taking some pictures and then drive the car next Saturday and get them to respray it. If however they refuse to do this, what can i exercise to get it sorted out?

The other issue I have is that I need my car for work, so what can i do about loaning a vehicle in the meantime?

Hi! well I have a bit of advice for you that may be helpful are there any other bodyshops that are around that you could pay a visit to and get a second opinion about matching the paint color? if said garage says that they are able to match the color much better than the match the other garage used to spray your car then you could return back to the bodyshop that you paid and explain that garage A stated that they could match the color how come you were unable to etc then I'm sure you could come to some kind of agreement for a respray / refund etc...its true that some paint shades are very hard to match but some aren't so difficult. As for having a vehicle while yours was getting sorted I would recommend you have a look at Enterprise car hire, they are pretty good.
