New Roof Quote

We've had ongoing problems with a mid-terraced extension roof (single storey extension out from the back room), some investigation has led to the discovery of a flat roof under the pitched roof!
What thoughts on the price of the quote and if everything is covered.
We've been quoted £2260 for the new roof inc upvc fascia and guttering, as well as £495 for a new rear upper section guttering (needs doing too).
They are quoting to remove the flat roof and use the tile covering of Redland Regent. The quote is for a full re-roof. They are removing the old roof, underfelting and battens.
Then a complete timber restructure and under felting (with min 100m lap). The battens will be nailed to the rafters. Once tiling is compete the roof will be fully lead flashed at the junction of wall and roof.

we have just had our roofer give a quote of £1000 for replacing our old sloping kitchen roof, and re-timber the utility room (currently poly-carbonate sheeting on the utility room) and beef up all the timbers, and fit breathable membrane, new tantalised battens, and tiles (rather than slate), and redo the lead between the house and the roof. This includes removal of the old rubbish etc.....
Also included in the £1000 is fitting a small velux type window into the kitchen roof, supply and fix a slimline gutter to the utility room and he's going to repaint the front of our house (no stonepainting, just gloss), and repaint the rear of the house (including stonepainting, gloss, etc)....
We had our gutters front and rear replaced due to the old wood troughings being well past their best (had them replaced with UPVC profile Twinplas gutters) and he charged us £320 for both including fitting and removal of the old troughings.
He has just finished a full reslate (new breathable membrane, tantalised battens and replaced 250 slates (from front and back) including scaffolding (and a skip for the rubbish etc, and he charged us £2200 all in..

Against building regs, apparently the old roof should have been removed, also the pitch of the sloped roof isn't right either. Their is a few problems with the tiles letting water in and the guttering at the top leaking too. They did say the pitch of the roof causes leaking too?!2p off is still 2p off!0 -
