A bit of advice please. My android tablet has suddenly stopped connecting to playstore and won't download apps. This is not a storage problem. Is it worth trying to restore factory settings or might this not help. Its about 6 minths old and was fine til yesterday.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The internet connection is fine. Playstore says timed out. If I try to download viabrowser it appears to be working but nothing happens. We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing.0

Factory reset will wipe all data and reset to the out of the box state .
Note a lot of China stuff blocks Play store or its not included in the firmware .

Playstore was working fine it suddenly isn't and when I try to reload it, it is saying can't connect to server.
My worry is if I reset and still can't get playstore I will be unable to get any of my apps back. Is this likely given that I was able to originally? We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing.0 -
Apps you have purchased from Google Play remain in your account and can be reinstalled without further charge.
But obviously all your data and settings will be lost, so back them up to an SD card first. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
You could try to delete the data for the framework, which stores all the Play store related stuff.
Go to Settings -> Apps, switch to All, then find Google Play Services, and clear the data for that application. Give your phone/tablet a restart and try again.
YMMV, I don't promise this to work, it just maybe a solution if your Play app is having issues.0 -

I have done this but then it won't let me log in again. Someone has now told me that it's because I have just put the account on my phone and I can't have one on the phone and the tablet!!!
Am going to try logging in with OHs account or set up a new account before I resort to factory settings.
