Where would you look to book a caravan through the owner?

I own a caravan in Great Yarmouth which I let out very cheaply. It's got it's own website, Facebook page and eBay advert. I was just wondering if you were to look online to book a caravan and save money what sites would you look on? Bookings have been slow so far this year so I wondered if I'm advertising in the wrong places? Thanks.

Bookings are normally fairly quiet this time of year although we are starting to get some enquireys . If you offer a decent break for a decent price you will get return bookings . Out of the weeks/ weekends and midweeks breaks we have this year (about 10 bookings ) One is a old friend thats never stayed ,one is a new booking (although a MSEr & FB friend for over2years) & 8 repeats. I do ebay Facebook & own website . Thought about owners direct and a few other websites but last year wasnt bad with over 75% full from March to early November and fully booked from Early June to Mid September we did ok. hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

Ive had quite a few bookings these last 2 weeks, mainly through facebook.
I advertise on facebook, my own website and ukcaravans 4hire (but you do have to pay a yearly fee to advertise), gumtree and preloved.
never had much look with ebay,0 -
People advertise on the FB selling pages. I've seen one for Great Yarmouth advertised on the Elybay page, which is local to me in Cambridgeshire.
You could try googling "holiday caravan great yarmouth" together with the site name if its a popular one, thats how I'd find one. See what sites come up?0 -
OK thanks. I'll give UK caravans 4 hire a look.0

I know some people say enquiries are quiet but I am inundated! Last weekend I took over 5k worth of bookings. I own my own and manage some for other people most of my enquiries come through my own website and facebook. UK caravans used to be good but as of late ive had hardly anything off them!2010 Wins: Benecol Bag For Life, £150 FCUK Voucher, Rimmel Foundation, L'oreal Mascara, £60 worth of hair products, £100 :j0

Google! We always hire privately owned caravans and always use google to find them, so do most people I know. The thing with FB site is yes FB has a huge audience but you've got to know what you're looking for to search for something like that on FB. Also try eBay and gum tree :-)0

http://www.gocaravanrentals.com is a decent one bt it does depend as each tend to do better for some areas/parks than others0

we use directholidayhomesdotcodotuk (cant post links as a new member)
Works for us quite well , but anyone who wants to email me on here their webaddress , i will be interetsed , were always going away to caravans , 5-6 times a year!Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
i always look on directholidayhomes,.co.uk as well...
i like lots of pictures and also details of where on the site the van is located..... all the details of the park itself can be found on the parks website... people book direct so they can choose the van and the location of the van so that is the info i want...
