There is no convential fire place in my living room and thus there is no vent. Which fireplace one should fit which is economical safe n saves energy n heats the living room. I was looking n there are negative comments about ventless gas fire . And also realized that fitting fireplace alongwith a new vent installed is v expensive in thousands probably. So should i go for eletric fire place vent free.is it energy saving n gives equally warmer heating. Dont want to make a larfe conventioal vent in any case.while browsing there is a chance to fit gas fire place in outer side of the wall n make a little vent.

I find it hard to understand what you are on about, but I think I have sussed out some bits and answers are below.
I think you say that you don't have a flue , where a fireplace could go in your property. Have you had a look on your roof? Do you have a chimney stack and pots, a raised ridge tile on the Apex of the roof, or a metal pipe with a ventilated end to it? If so you may have a flue that you didn't know you had and can have a gas fire fitted.
I presume you are talking about Flueless gas fires as well, if you haven't got a flue of any type. If so yes there is a viewpoint by the majority of people in the industry ( myself included) that do not advocate having them installed. There is too much to go wrong which can endanger life, if they are not fitted correctly and ran in the correct manner. They are not meant to be a source of heating, they are for a focal point. Any additional works you need to do to have them fitted correctly , can mitigate buying one in the first place, if you are looking for heat.
If you are on a budget and don't really need the fire for a heat source, then an electric fire and suite would be your best option. You can get some now with a good realistic flame picture.
If you have no flue, do not want an electric one and do have space on an outside wall, then look at Balanced flued gas fires. They don't need additional ventilation in the room and the back of the fire runs through the wall to a terminal on the outside of your property and will take the air in the fire requires and expell the poisonous fumes created by the fire.
I would suggest a visit to a local reputable Fireplace company in your town, who could guide you in the right direction for your needs.0
