Does anybody know of a good ad-free forum host (phpBB) without adverts? It needs to have a decent amount of bandwidth as there is about 100 active members and I would like them to be able to embed video (eg youtube) and use pictures.
Cheers!

Thanks, I know I can just do a google search :rotfl: .
What I want is some feedback as to what is a good one or if someone can recomend a particular one that they use.
Also I would prefer it if the domain name did not feature the host's name.

Forgive me for providing a link to an ad free - unlimited bandwidth - phpbb forum0

sorry dewd, I didn't mean to come accross as an ungrateful sod. Thanks for your time doing a search and all, but as you may have noticed the search results more than just one or two, so feedback / expierences would be more than useful.

So basically you want someone to provide you with bandwidth, no adverts, and let you use your own domain name....for nothing.
I am sure they are queueing out of the door for that.
Sorry, should not have taken that tone. Seriously if you want something that is totally free from anyone else making money from your traffic I think you are going to have to pay for it, but it doesn't need to be that much. I would think that for £20-£30 per annum you could get some webhosting. PhpBB is very easy to install and a lot of hosts will do it for you anyway. Just look for a webhosting package with an MySQL Database.0 -
I know it is a long shot, but there is some people out there who belive the interweb and computing in general should be free (linux for example) it's just knowing where to look, which I don't unfortunately.
I'd rather not have to pay, but I don't mind paying a nominal amount, The beers will just be on the forum members!!!!!0 -
