Recommend me a rechargale mouse

Options
I need a new wireless rechargeale mouse to use with my laptop, preferably one that connects via wire and not the docking stations.

I've had a look at the Logitech MX series but they're too bulky and far too expensive for a mouse.

Willing to spend a maximum of £30.

Thanks

Well, there's this... but what would be the point of that when you can get a wired 'travel' mouse for a few quid? Most mice that match your description cost more than twice what you're willing to pay.

Thanks, that DX-ECO is what I'm looking for. If I don't find another one, I'll most likely purchase it.

I bought one previously which cost around £15 but it broke so now I'm looking for a new one.

I'm struggling to understand what you want, a wireless or a wired mouse?

Wireless mouse. I think he meant the charger to be a wired one, not where you slot it into a docking station. I think. lol

If your budget was around the MX series, I would definitely recommended it. I bought the MX revolution (this version used a dock) a few years back and find it great (grip, size and functionality) - also can go absolutely ages without charging! (Months).

Anyways, had a quick look on amazon and found this little mouse :)

For what it's worth, I have a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 - it's not rechargeable but is normal size, light, has a teensy donglette which stores underneath, has high resolution, works on any surface, and a single AA battery lasts me upto 6 months. You could always use your own rechargeable AA instead, plus have the ability to slip in a regular AA if you need it in an emergency.

It was cheap in PCWorld by virtue of being pinky red colour, no regrets at all, nice bit of hardware.

The logitech m325 is great, batteries last 18 months so no need to recharge. I've had mine for a year.
    In Progress!!!

I've looked at the spec for this and it states that it takes one AA battery. I am assuming that the 18 months figure is for average use(or whatever their definition for average is) but even so that is an astonishingly long time. Battery efficiency has increased tremendously since I last bought a wireless mouse a few years ago.

I'm pretty sure the battery tech hasn't changed one whit; my mouse eats a couple of 2100mAh AA cells every month or so.

(heavy use; up to 12 hours a day)
  • I have a Logitech M235 - the battery is supposed to last up to a year, I find it lasts around 6 months with about 4 hours use a day.
