Euro Car park parking fine - haringey London

Most Saturdays I go the the gym at The Arena Shopping Centre, Green Green Lanes, Harringey, London which users have to use the car park operated by Euro Car parks. They allow a 2.5 hours time limit. I normally get there for 11.00am. The parking attendants know my car as I am a regular (and unfortunately now I realise I normally park in the same area which seems detrimental to me now) . I have had a run in once with them when I received a parking ticket early last year. This Saturday I arrived later and when I finished at the gym I saw that I had a parking ticket on my car. The PROBLEM is the ticket says I arrived at 11.13am which I know I didn't as I was in a different part of town and there is no way it could have got there at that time. There are no CCTV cameras to prove that I arrived at 11.13am. NOW I am going to appeal as the parking attendant is lying but I want to know how they can they prove I arrived at a particular time with out any CCTV, plus is there any templates for the right wording for my letter. Thank you in advance.:mad:

Their main problem isn't so much proving what time you arrived, its that they are not the landowners and hence cannot form a contract with a driver (in order for any terms and conditions to be breached in the first place). They also have to demonstrate that the amount they are trying to extort from you amounts to the actual financial loss that the landowner suffered as a result of your parking.

I'm guessing the car park is free? Then they have lost nowt.

So, they have two far bigger hurdles to overcome than proving your time of arrival.

I would simply ignore them and all their scary letters. Eventually they will give up and go away.

Euro car parks you mean those mugs who sent me invoices months back? its a good 3+ months since their last letter. Put simply they have nothing but threats to offer you, if you know their invoice is in fact NOT a fine but a shoddy attempt at making you believe then you will IGNORE.

They cannot fine you.
They cannot ruin your credit rating.
They given a defence obtained on this forum or pepipoo will lose a court case.

You have nothing to fear by simply ignoring them, i received the exact letter chain in the sticky thread at the top of this forum and have heard nothing since the second letter.

Just ignore them - Euro goes away and doesn't do court.

Just to give you a hint of how corrupt Euro are, in Worthing they have a private parking estate they patrol. Strangely they decide to park in a council pay and display space. Guess what ? They don't bother to pay thus conning us the taxpayer out of income. Not very nice people Euro Car Parks.
