we have moved on to day 51 nearly there !!!!
the difference in body shape is quiet surprising, been hard work but well worth it.

Started doing 3 sessions of weights and 2-3 Insanity workouts a week. Proving to be a great combination to build strength :)

    Keep it up everyone!

It is definitely worth the money! My overall fitness level has improved, I've lost weight but most importantly my body shape has definitely changed. It's not for beginners but if you stick with it, its worth it!
  • Hi I downloaded insanity and p90x online but found youtube better, you get a great mix of people of all levels that show tutorials and diaries one of the best was a young girl losing her baby weight, it showed over a few months in one video of how she got fitter and leaner, i found it so inspiring and im a 40 year old guy that teaches martial arts, I now get all my ideas from youtube
  • I have to disagree with everyone who says that Insanity is not for beginners. I'm overweight, underfit, not supple in the slightest and could barely walk upstairs without being out of breath. I'm still on month 1 but feel sooooo much better every day that I push play. I can't do all the exercises, and probably manage only 80-85% of the warmup routines, but each day gets better. I haven't lost much weight (1-2lbs) but my body shape has certainly changed in a small amount of time.

I actually look forward to the workouts :)

I start recovery week next week, and then it's on to month 2 ...

A word of warning - month 2 is about ten times harder than month 1. If you find yourself taking a lot of breaks, repeat month 1 after your recovery week. One of my friends did this and said it helped as month 2 was really demotivating her!
