Oh dear, have you fallen for the late night hard sell on bid.tv or qvc etc ?
  • I downloaded P90 online but still haven't got round to using it. Going to classes (Zumba and the sort) and healthier eating is probably the best option.

That's a bit unfair! I'd like to make it clear that i am in no way affiliated with the company that sells insanity, i'm not a ''coach'' or anything but i completed a round of insanity last summer and was astonished by the results (as were my friends and family!) Don't get my wrong it's VERY painful and you have to be a bit mad to manage to get through the whole programme but by the time i finished i was in the best shape of my life and the ''dig deep, push harder'' mantra genuinely rubbed off on other areas of my life.

It's not a beginners programme though, if you aren't in the way of exercising i would suggest easing yourself in with something like the 30 day shred first! xxx
  • Agreed regarding the intensity, and you're in it for the long haul!

The official website, http://www.tryinsanity.co.uk has a pay-monthly deal so you can spread the cost :)

There's a few threads on the health and beauty board about how we've gotten on with this program. Good luck!

Argos sell insanity so you may be able to get a code for discount?
    Also have you tried gumtree?

  • I really enjoyed Insanity and still do the workouts occasionally to mix it up with the powerlifting :)

    Was definitely worth the investment!

The £100 price may seem a bit steep but a 3 month gym membership along with a personal trainer would cost a hell of a lot more. You could purchase it off eBay for £85 and once used by yourself sell it on therefore costing hardly anything.

May I suggest trying a few workout first as it isn't for everyone. Some of the day one full workouts can be found on youtube.

    Downloading Insanity is illegal.

this one isn't so much http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/insanity-60-day-workout-/261182437088?pt=UK_CDsDVDs_DVDs_DVDs_GL&hash=item3ccfafb6e0

I've seen the ads and think it looks really good! Unfortunately my back and knees are pretty knackered and I don't think I could handle most of it.

    hello,
me and the wife started insanity, we are now into day 39 of the 60 days.
if you do not have a reasonable level of fitness do not try insanity, if you have any problems with hips, knees etc do not try insanity.
if you are a quitter do not try insanity.
however if you do already do some level of exercise and you want to improve i would recommend insanity.
it is very intensive and the eating regime is hard to stick to, so we don't, but it WILL work for you if you are determined.
the weight does not fall off you but your shape certainly changes over time, in the 5 weeks we have been doing it i have lost around 7lbs and the wife a couple of pounds, not great but we both have gone down in sizes, the wife has dropped a dress size and I have had to add nothches to my belt due to stomach loss.
and of course we are much fitter than we were.
