Webmail problem with new laptop

Hello clever peeps,
I took the plunge and bought a new laptop based on recommendations in various other threads on here. Nice shiny Dell (:D) with Windows 8 (:().
Getting used to Windows 8 but can't access my Tiscali emails through IE. It lets me sign in but then doesn't show any folders. Not entirely sure but could it be the McAfee AV that's blocking it? And if it is how do I fix it?

Yeah but I don't know how to. When I open McCrappy it asks me to sign in, but it was preinstalled and I don't know how to get in.....If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0
