Looking at laptops and these seem cheaper than other makes I'd heard of.

Do people have experience of them and what do you think?
Good value for money?

Medion PCs and laptops are usually well-specified and tend to be cheaper than (some) other makes because they may well use cheaper components. So if it works for you, that's fine. I've had this Medion Core 2 Quad PC for just over three years and it's running Window 7 Pro 64-bit without problems!

Medion was bought by Lenovo about a year ago (? time) but I haven't seen any sign of any integration yet.

My first ever home laptop in 1998 was a Medion bought from Tesco for the incredible bargain price of £999 (laptops of the spec were about £1500 at the time).

My dad liked it so much he bought one too. Neither of us had any problems with them (I still have mine purely for collection purposes but it does still work).

I bought another from Toys R Us a few years later and this was also very cheap (quad core) and I still use this to this day as a satellite media centre server.

I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy one again.

I replaced my PC and laptop with Medions last August. No problems on either. This is my second Medion PC. I would happily recommend them.

Think it is the Danish supermarket brand. I have a 10yo PC from Aldis that has never missed a beat.

My Medion was from Aldi in 2005. Have had problems with it now and then but still working (just).

I've had this one MEDION® AKOYA® P6815 (MD98234) for about 3 months and I must say it is excellent. Even makes Windows 8 look good!
