    you have to do the decent thing and give the money to your ex tennant, you should always do the right thing no matter what others do.

    If someone did me wrong and then I did the same to another person then it becomes a vicious circle that will never stop

    Plus your concious will be clear and in your heart you will know you have done the right thing

    The fact she didn't give notice is not relevant. She over paid the bill so the money is hers.
