Asda Indian Meal Deal

Went into the Small Heath branch today and they have the indian meal deal for two on offer until 29th - £3.00 instead of £6.00.
Its good value at £6.00 but at £3.00 its a bargain - two curry's, two rice, two nan breads and two starters (samosa, packora etc). Freezes well too.

Spotted this on HUKD - and it's in the oven now

Nice one. Main meal freezes for a month so I may well go back tomorrow.0 -
How annoying, I especially checked for a price drop yesterday when I did my shopping. I'll send DH out to get a couple of bags. I LOVE CURRY.0

Have to agree - its rubbery :rolleyes:0 -
This offer is NOT on the prepacked version in the chiller aisle (at least it wasn't in my store). I checked with a member of staff, and it scanned at £6.
It's the meal for two that you get made up at the counter (near the deli counter).
There's a big red sign with the deal, and it does end tomorrow.
Got one for tonight -the salad can wait!!0 -
Can anyone recommend it for taste - other than price - don't fancy curried rubber even at that price!:D0

It's great value (even better now), but as for the taste, I think it's smashing.
However, after a spoonful or two of Vindaloo, the sense of taste normally disappears.
Only downside, is if you're cooking it for four or more, then you need to do a bit of juggling when it comes to what goes in the oven and when.
But then again, I can't multitask
