Blu Ray + DVD + Digital = confused

Really silly question I'm sure, but no clear answer on Amazon, nor Tesco.
Looking to preorder Skyfall.
We will probably get a blu ray player in the next year or so, but only have a DVD player at the moment.
The way the title reads for the Skyfall Blu ray is that it is a DVD as well as a Blu Ray, but then the description goes onto say you need a blu ray to watch.
Title states: Skyfall (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy)
Please explain - I don't get it!

It's a triple play. you get one Bluray disc, one DVD disc and you can also download a soft copy.604!0

Nope - description says it only comes with 1 disc.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

It'll be a two sided disc. DVD on one side, Blu-Ray on the other and there'll be a website you go to with a code to input to download it as well.0

Thank you. Didn't know you could get 2 sided discs.

When DVDs first came out, a lot of them were double-sided and half way through the film you had to flip the disk to the other side to continue watching.
Disney released all theirs like this, very annoying. They admitted to a DVD mag that they didn't actually have the equipment to make dual layer discs. I think this shamed them into buying the equipment to make dual-layer discs and they allowed you to send some of them back and they'd send you a dual layer disc replacement.0 -

Is it only on Amazon you seen it advertised as only having 1 disc?
Does seem odd for it being a double sided disc.
Personally I would hold off pre-ordering it as the last 2 films started of being heavily discounted at release date (I recall a Tesco advert doing something like the latest 007 movie for £007)0 -

It won't be double sided, hardly anyone does these anymore unless you buy a low rate horror movie (of which I buy many)
It will be 2 discs, the 'number of discs' on Amazon can be ignored as this is quite often incorrect. Either that or the title description is wrong and it is the standard 1 disc blu ray. The description is picked up automatically from various data feed sources like RedMuze and it is most likely wrong with them (therefore wrong on any other site too who also use these feeds)
The problem is Amazon won't be able to help if you ask them as they generally won't help with product description questions as they won't physically go to the warehouse, open one and have a look (well they can't)
Go by the price, as this is 2.00 more than the 'other' version then this is the blu ray + DVD version.0
