I received mine today from The Hut with no voucher included. I have rung the above number for GHD customer service who have stated that not all retailers are doing the offer(It does not state this) and told me to contact The Hut to query it. This is what it states on GHD website in their terms and conditions:
GHD – cashback redemption

"Eligible Product" means a ghd airTM hair dryer, ghd IV stylers, ghd gold V professional stylers, ghd pink cherry blossom styler and ghd metallic collection stylers originating from ghd
2. This offer is exclusively for customers purchasing an Eligible Product, from ghdhair.com or an approved retailer or salon only during the promotional period of between 3rd January 2013 to 31st January 2013 inclusive or while stocks last. The cashback amount that may be claimed is £20/€25 per Eligible Product.

I have been in e mail contact with both GHD and The Hut for about a week now, will report back if I get anywhere, at the moment its going nowhere fast.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
• Both are saying that the HUT/Lookfantastic havent taken part in the offer, end of. GHD saying to contact lookfantastic, and lookfantastic saying to contact GHD. GHD did say it was just salons doing it, and I said that it mentioned online retailers in the T & C, and GHD said if there is nothing on lookfantastics website, then they arent taking part. Neither side being very helpful, quite abrupt in fact, both phone and email.
• Also, very poor email response from GHD. Contacted @ghdhelp on twitter and think this prompted a response from info@ghdhaircashback.co.uk
• I emailed info@ghdhaircashback twice and the hut with the terms and conditions attached. I have finally got a result, this is their reply:

To ensure we can process your £20 cashback please can you send to the address below, the following details. I will then ensure a cheque is posted out to you.
On a covering note, please detail:
- Your name
- Address
- Where you purchased
- Which product was purchased (Please state the date code and hologram code. These can be found on the styler/hairdryer as attached)
- Purchase date

Unfortunately the cashback website is not set up to accept cashback claims electronically via The Hut therefore all claims need to be posted.

I also got it honoured, by quoting their terms and conditions, stating that I have fulfilled all the criteria, and they are in breach of the T & C. They have now changed the T & C to say "selected" retailers......

They are sending me out a voucher, then I have to contact them again for instructions

• I was persuaded by this offer to purchase a GHD IV Hair Styler MK4 from John Lewis (on-line) for my wife in advance of her birthday. I submitted proof of purchase (John Lewis VAT Invoice) and the downloaded voucher (John Lewis website) with a unique code via the GHD on line claim website. Today they have rejected my claim on the basis that it is invalid. They haven't stated how it is invalid - I have asked them. John Lewis and GHD benefit financially from promotions like this which stimulate sales but if it turns out that the the promotion is so difficult to claim correctly then it may as well be a totally bogus promotion. Has anybody else had problems or actually bothered to make a cashback claim?
• Response from GHD - System error or rethink?

Thank you for your ghd cashback claim.
You may have received an email regarding the status of your ghd Cashback claim. Please ignore any email received since 12.30pm today; this was a system error and does not reflect the true status of your claim.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

info@ghdhaircashback.co.uk

Once again please accept our apologies for any misunderstanding.
