I trod on my ghds almost two weeks ago & they snapped. I was debating to send them away for fixing for £35 but since they were 7 years old I wasn't really sure how much life they had left in them anyway. £65 for the wide plates is a no brainer for me. excellent!

Thanks so much, splicecom. This is a great bargain (one of the best I've ever seen for GHDs). I've wanted to try the wider plates for a while as I have very thick hair and it takes a while with the slimmer plates. Plus mine is so old and plays up some times, but for 7 years of use I think that's pretty good going.
