yet another student loan question...

Options
Okay, I dropped out of uni about 6 years ago and didnt finish my degree and have been paying back the SLC ever since (Its the newer type loan 9% on anything over £15K)

I've finally got my finger out and gone to the OU to finish my degree (part-time - 16 hours per week) while still working full-time and earning over the £15k threshold

Is there any sort of a provision to suspend SLC payments while i'm studying part time with the open university?

Did look at the SLC website but cant find anything about it.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help

No, there is no such provision. The only relief would be to students earning under 15k.

Cheers, guessed as much, seems a little harsh, I'm paying fees and my loan now! Yippee.

Well serves me right for not finishing it in the first place.
