Windows Live messanger question.

Just wondering if it's possible to show yourself as online to certain contacts with windows live messanger like you can with yahoo?

I know with previous messangers you couldn't even send a message without being 'online' even though you could log in and have it set to 'appear offline'

So does the new one have the 'stealth' settngs of yahoo?

There are two options:

Appear Offline: Invisible to ALL contacts though you can still communicate with them. Obviously they'd know you are 'appearing' offline.

Block Users: Just right-click on a username and click block, that means they can't see your online status or contact you through messenger. I guess that's the closest you're going to get in this version of Windows Live Messenger.
