Convector heater keeps going off

We have one of these but it keeps "clicking" off every few minutes.
Never used the 24hr timer, but it got "Knocked" during Christmas, the heater hasn't worked properly since.
I've tried searching for a manual on-line but not having much luck, anyone have any suggestions please?

I've got one very similar, but without the fan. If it keeps going on and off, could it just be the thermostat regulating the temperature? That's the big round knob. If so, just crank it up to max for maximum heat.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
It must be the thermostat. At least, it is on mine.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

If its clicking off and on regularly then its the stat or the thermal overheat protection kicking in and resetting. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

Is that the "Black" knob?
If so, it's always been on "Maximum" but keeps clicking on / off
Even on maximum it does have a functioning limit and will switch on/off regularly to avoid overheating and damage.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0
