Barclays Telephone Banking / Online Banking Membership number the same ?

Hi,
I have just opened a Barclays Bank Account and this morning I got my PIN and a Plastic card with my Telephone banking Membership number on it.

Will this be the same membership number as I will use for Internet Banking or are they different ?.

I still have my old Barclays membership number for online banking when I had an account with them a few years ago but it is completely different from this new one.

Yes it is.

It's likely to be the same, but to be honest, you don't even need it, you can use your debit/cash card number or a sort code and account number for any barclays account you have.
