  • Do you mean he had to travel 3hrs to work every day (1.5 hrs commute each way not so bad) or that his pregnant wife lived 3hours away?
  • Was there something that led to this? Was his work relocated? It just seems a bit strange, assuming he was previously happy with the arrangement? Presumably even if the pregnancy was a shock, he would have had 9 months to find a new job,save up, move house etc etc?
    Can he go back (ie did he resign in haste one day)?
