Im looking to buy a new laptop but im sinking in all the deals thats about and dont know whats best for the money.
I would like windows 8, pretty fast as im online alot due to my business being web based. I email alot as well as using office software. I would also like it to have a memory card slot as take alot of pics with camera so this would be easier?
I have approx £350 to spend and would love it to be white if possible (sorry im being female I know lol)
Can you point me in the direction of something well priced?
I had my eye on the hp-pavilion-g6-2215sa-laptop- but the white is sold out everywhere local and I wasnt sure if it really was a good laptop to ditch the colour and go for red/blue or purple since it was a good laptop
Thanks in advance

I recently tested a large amount of budget laptops.
Have a look at Lenovo G580. It's fairly fast, has good build quality, very comfy keyboard, large touchpad and very quiet cooling system. Comes in variety of colors.
as a new user I can't post links yet but it is on amazon from 329 depending on spec0 -

Lenovo (formerly known as IBM), they make good quality laptops.
No white, but there is red, blue or bronze0 -

Ahh yeah now I remember IBM... just been reading reviews and it sounds good so far.. talking the pretty side of my brain to just get a different colour rather then a different spec just cause its white lol0 -
You can always look for warehouse deals on amazon. Just found white Sony Vaio for 399 - it has Windows 7 though (not sure if that is a no no to you)0

Argos have this in stock in my area for £349.
Asus K55A 15.6 Inch 1TB 6GB Laptop with Windows 8 - White.0 -
The desktop environment in Windows 7 is very similar to 8 as is the core functionality. The Start screen though is very love or hate as it's very geared towards touch devices. I personally don't like it due to the dual environment and dual version of apps it creates. To each their own though.
But anyway, I owned the hp pavilion g6-2212 (essentially what you're looking at but in black and with the Intel i5) and the build quality was shocking on the keyboard. Very clackity arrow keys, and the casing creaked around them. I returned it and checked the display models were the exact same. So have a look in person before you buy. Spec wise was good though.
Lenovo have good rep for build quality.0
