I wasn't sure if the weekly thread was still going, or if we have to use the long one, but I couldn't see one for next week, so I thought I'd get it started in case people do still want the short weekly one
Mine actually starts on the Sunday, as the roast is the source of the weeks meals. Monday & thursday are fasting days, so 500 cals (I tend to just not eat during the day, maybe a sub-100cal snack)
Su 13 roast pork carrots swede and cabbage and spuds
Mo 14th pork noodle soup, sugar snap peas, scallions, chilli, garlic, bean sprouts
Tu 15th Pork & mushroom stroganoff with mixed rice
We 16th pepper & squash tagine with rice
Th 17th salmon & veg
Fr 18th Italian beef
Sa 19th omelette arnold bennett or smoked haddock and leek chowder
Su 20th Hugh's lamb, cauli cheese, veg

I definitely prefer the shorter weekly thread, so thanks for starting one, hotcookie. :T
My meal plan for last week got abandoned quite quickly as the tail end of a nasty cold left me without much energy or appetite, and several meals were replaced with sandwiches or cereal. I'm feeling much better now, so hopefully I'll stick to the following:
Saturday - lamb and spinach curry (from the HB diet book - this week's new recipe)
Sunday - jambalaya
Monday - pasta with tomato and chorizo sauce
Tuesday - pork and lentil stew (from the freezer)
Wednesday - squash, bean and chorizo stew
Thursday - steak and veg Thai curry (from the freezer) with rice noodlesBack after a very long break!0 -
