I came across this root whilst looking at carb intake, and wondered about growing it since it's not in the shops here. It would normally prefer a better climate, but as you can buy the seeds here I would expect it to be possible.
So, does anyone here have any experience of it?

Dies at first sign of frost I believe.
Produces decent sized tubers after a few years, so it's alot of space to devote to it for such a long growing period needed to produce any reasonable food.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Always a catch, eh? ;-) Thanks.0
