Redundancy pay after changing hours

How soon does a change in hours affect redundancy pay?
I worked full time for 27 months, then in October last year reduced from 38 to 15 hours as I decided to return to university. Now redundancy is looming because my current job has disappeared and none of the alternative jobs offered to me suit my schedule.
Everyone I've spoken to seems to think it would be based on my overall contribution to the company, but I wanted to make sure with people who might know better. I also have a horrible feeling it WILL be based on the 15 hour contract...
