This is the second week I've done this exercise - last week's success was varied, due to a few last minute changes of plan!
Here goes:
Monday Leftover beef stew with carrots, celery, new potatoes and broccoli
Tuesday Pasta and Chorizo and Broccoli with HM tomato sauce
Wednesday Late meeting - probably grab a bagel when I come in
Thursday Late meeting - probably eat something or other at some point
Friday I have a date! Dinner out somewhere nice (I hope).
Saturday Salmon & vegetables
Sunday Turkey CurryErrors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -
Hello, im a bit late this week, but had a busy weekend (2 meals out!!!) so its put me all out of sink!! Well, this is this weeks plan -
Monday - Fish, potatoes and veg.
Tuesday - Roast pork.
Wednesday - Stew and dumplings.
Thursday - Sheperds pie or spag bol.
Friday - HM pizza.

Here goes for the week ahead -
I am trying to switch lunch and dinner round to help with more sensible eating - lately we have not been having dinner till gone 9.
It's a bit of a mixture as DSS is at his Mum's till Thursday evening.
DSD eats either at work or whichever house she happens to land on, here, Mum's or one of her friends
Monday - Rubber Chicken and Asparagus and Potato Topped Pie, Carrots, Broccoli, Runner Beans followed by fresh fruit salad with natural yoghurt
Tuesday - Wholemeal pasta and tuna and egg salad, with olives for added ooomph followed by stewed apple and natural yoghurt
Wednesday - Spanish style rubber chicken, salad. Fruit
Thursday - Large Greek salad, followed by baked apple and natural yoghurt. HM fish and chips for DP and DSS with salad and coleslaw and apple crumble to follow.
Friday - off to Cheddar for the Bank Holiday so dinner in the motor home - probably chilli and rice with salad and fruit to snack on.
Saturday - BBQ or cook in the motor home, depending on weather. Probably choice of chicken kebabs, HM turkey burgers and steak. More fruit, HM flapjack and Cakes for DP and DSS.
Sunday - BBQ or cook in the motor home, depending on weather. Whatever is left of chicken kebabs, HM turkey burgers and steak. More fruit, HM flapjack and Cakes for DP and DSS.
Monday - Dinner out as travelling home.
Tuesday - See what DSD and friends have left in the freezer:rolleyes: Not much if last time we were away is anything to go by:rolleyes:
Breakfast will be porridge or cereal
Supper for me will be soup, usually HM. We have carrot and coriander, asparagus and garlic and potato and leek in the freezer.
For DP and DSS it will be stuffed pitta pockets, soup, wraps or something on toast.
Off now to do the ironing:mad:
All the best

Hi, HAHWMB  The rhubarb recipes look scrummy. We have lots of rhubarb in the garden, so would like to make this.
Can you translate the american cup measurements
Many thanks, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Hi Penny - I'm afraid that I do use cups (you can buy them really cheaply now in pretty much any big supermarket) - but there are websites that give some kind of conversion: the only problem is that you are converting volume into weight. Anyway - here are a couple of the websites, but I will also weigh out my measured ingredients before I use them, and PM a translated recipe! I should be making these tomorrow - but it might be Wednesday: depends how organised I am!

Monday we had lamb and puy lentil stew with pasta, then HM lemon cheesecake ice cream
Tuesday - Hungarian potato, boiled egg and salami bake (think dauphinois potatoes with a health warning, comfort food with knobs on!)
Wednesday - Aubergine bake (quite cheesy;))
Thursday - Bubble and squeak with eggs if hens keep laying
Friday - veggie tart (not a quiche cos hubby is a real man and they dont eat quiche LOL;))
Saturday Pizza hut because littlest DS is 6  (his choice...)
Sunday Roast chicken and a lentil loaf.
The menu is quite veggie because
1 - I lost my cashpoint card
2 - Mum is coming to stay and she is a veggie.
It may all go out of the window because I am planning to be out a couple of evenings, but that's what the troops will mostly be eating around here.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
