Yes, I'm on the Bath side of Bristol so go to Longwell Green now and then. I have been to What! a few times but not to Hypervalue. I didnt even know that it was a store, just checked their website and they have 200g of Nescafe for £1.69, its £3.24 in Tesco for the same size. I tried Tesco own label coffee which I find very bitter so might pop down there for coffee and Colgate is 50p!

Tiff,
I have just moved out of area.
Hope you get some bargains. I sent hubby there on the way back from work last night as they had the sweets my dad likes for 20p a pkt. Problem is my mum has to hide them otherwise he will eat them all up. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you say about wilkinsons and that they are in town. Do you mean the city centre. As there is one in kingswood as well as a Poundstretchers

The Pundstretcher near us has been rebranded House&Home or something like that. Was not impressed with the clothes although when it was Pundstretcher they were OK. Kidz pants were £3 for 10 pairs which was a real bargain and cheaper to buy that use the laundrette when at the coast.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

Didnt know they were in Kingswood as well. I live in Brislington so dont go over that side very often but would if parking was easy or free.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Tiff,
Parking is free in kingswood. There is a Somerfield there with Poundstretchers next door. You get free parking for 2 hours in there carpark.
There is a little boots, whsmiths and sainsburys in the main shopping part.

Gloucester must be filled with us tightwads then as we have a Poundland, Poundstretcher, Wilko's, don't have a Saver though, but our local Superdrug does a lot of BOGOF's and special offers. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hello,
Can anybody help. A while ago a 'poster' detailed a home management book they had given their son which included recipe details, household management tips, price book etc. I am hoping to make something similar for a friend but cannot find that helpful post.
If anybody could advise if they have seen it in their travels around the forum, I would be grateful.
Thanks in advance0 -
