Cancelling Car Insurance after poor service

Hi all.

It would be easier if I labelled events by date.

21.11.12 - Van hit the side of my car, they accepted liability. Damage driver door needed replacing, wheel arch repairing, tyre replacing and wheel repairing.
21.11.12 - Reported accident to esure my Inurance providers.
22.11.12 - Courtesy Car delivered.
23.11.12 - My car collected.
11.12.12 - My car returned, their car handed back. On return the centre cap to the alloy was missing. Filled out the paper work and was told by the driver that they would call me to organise a suitable time to come back and fit the missing piece.
20.12.12 - Part received by garage from manafacturer.

Between 20th December and now (three weeks, one day) I have not received one call from the garage to organise the fitting of the part.
I have done all the chasing, mainly calling esure. Every time they have said that the garage will call me and organise this. I have sent email complaints which I have been told will be investigated.
The one time I did call the garage myself I was told they could deliver the piece out of hours so I could fit it (that's what I pay my insurance for isn't it!) or they'd call me back to organise (has never happened).

Why should I make a 15 mile journey to the garage and back paying out on petrol and wasting my time to get it fitted? The accident wasn;t my fault and they're to lazy to come to me.

I now want to cancel my insurance asap with esure doe to this service.
The garage does not seem to care.
It's theft, my property is not being returned to me.
As I paid out my insurance in full in September I still have 7 months left to run but I want my money back. Will I be liable to pay to cancellation fee considering the circumstances?

Any advice welcome. I'll likely be back to name and shame the garage, all over the internet.

Thanks.

Because you made a claim the full premium maybe payable with the added cost of a cancellation fee.

Seems to be down to the garage not the insurance. But thinking of the xmas break you have only been waiting a week really.

Xmas day, Boxing day, New years + hangover days.

As its out of their way and a minor issue i guess your not a priority.

So before you cancel get the figures. You may need to sit down.
