I was discharged from bankruptcy in January this year. My PC is about dead and I'm looking for a laptop - plus I need it to kickstart my buisness.
I'm going to have to get one on credit. I've tried for a small loan but have been turned down each time.
Does anyone know of any firms that could help me?

Why not learn from your previous mistakes, and save up instead, or make your PC do for a while, or try freecycle.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

The more times you apply and get refused the worse your credit record is going to look.0

Your not going to get a credit card so close to being discharged unless you go for a prepaid credit card, i think your gonna struggle for a couple of years before you'll get one.
Best thing is to post your question on the Bankruptcy Board which is a "sub board" of Debt free Wannabe on here. The members on their will advise you what options are open to you.0 -

I dont think it can get worse than having a "bankruptcy default" on your credit history.:D no matter how many times the OP applies.0 -
Look in the loot or freecycle, i bet you can get a working windows 95 / 2000 / XP system for under 100 quid. Hell, you can probably get 'something' to work on for under 50 quid.0
