Hi folks,
I am looking for some hosting for a podcast site though am unsure whether to go for a uk host or us host. The us deals look cheaper and better value.
I am considering on the US side ... (1) IX-Webhosting, (2) BlueHost (3) GoDaddy to name a few. Main thing I want is fair billing (no hidden nasties or awkwardness changing away etc), reliability and a reasonable amount of bandwidth. Ideally I also want wordpress blogging utils and php etc.
Are there any complications being a UK person buying hosting/domain names of these US webhost companies?
Any tips appreciated ...
Jools;)

Hi,
I'm a member of IXWebHosting.
No problems signing up and been with them for about 6 months now.
Excellent value for money.
You will struggle to find a UK host with UK servers. I used to be with a UK Host called BigWetFish, but there servers were in the US.
I haven't really got one bad word to say about IX. One day the data centre had a power failure for 8 hours, they gave me a months free hosting.
Also whenever I have contacted they have got back well within an hour.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards,
