Six Nations Weekend Cardiff 1st/2nd Feb

I´ve been gifted tickets to the six nations rugby for the Wales vs Ireland game, so very excited about going - although accomodation looks really pricey 300 + for two nights... (although availability still looks ok)

Any ideas for value accomodation in the centre (have looks in the usual places, laterooms, airbnb, dragonflats)

Cheers

Ibis hotel £180 for those two nights, about a five minute walk from the centre

Nos Da hostel is cheap and a 10 min walk away from the stadium if you dont mind a backpacker type hostel. Also The Riverhouse Hostel which is the other side of the Taff to the Stadium.

Most hotel companies are charging for 2 night stays as a minimum unless you're a corporate customer

Look in Newport if I was you if cost is an issue.

For example the Ibis Budget isn't in newport centre so no riff raff and is on jct 26 of the M4. Not far at all.
