Hope this is the best place to ask this.
I have a few old computers and monitors taking up space at home that I want to scrap but don't know where.
does any one know if there is any way that these can be scraped for money?
I got to get rid of it but if I can make some change out of it all the better. Looking for some where that I can take it to rather than the online sore of thing?

Not that I am aware of. When I recently had an old pc knocking around I ended up taking it down to the local HWRC (tip) for recycling.YNWA

CRT's are a no at most places. Circuit boards normally get weighed and paid at the same weight as light aly, doubt many places would turn a PC away, end of the day it's a metal box.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

I have about 3 flats screens which all have broken screens. and about 3-4 dell base units. and a few dead hard drives and ram knocking about.0

You can, there are places that recycle them!
For safety sake though I would make sure any hard drives are completely wiped clean so that none of your information is left on them for someone to glean and use illegally, because there WILL still be info that is useful on them to a scammer!Signature removed0 -
yeah that's true. i do have some clean ones through. right so the hunt starts to find some where that will take it.0

My city's main 'dump' has a shipping container for PC's to be put in and a separate one for TV's and computer monitors.........it seems always to be near full.0
