Santander £40 offer for PPI lol....

HI All

Has anyone ever heard of Santander making such a rediculous offer.....

They have made the offer for only one year of the claim ( the claim was for a 12 year period)...

Bizarre....

They say they are repaying £30 with £10 interest...

£30??? Thats like saying the ppi monthly fee was £2.50

Anyone any suggestions??

I take it this is a Credit card, do you have statements showing PPI you paid, have they said why they are offering a years redress?

It is... believe it or not, a Mortgage ppi

The claim was for 12 years of mortgage ppi....

When I saw the offer my first thought was that they had found a loan ppi and were paying on that.... But the letter mentions the mortage.....

£2.50 a month ppi....
Surely nobody has ever has paid only £2.50 on a mortgage ppi
And, why pay out on just one of the 12 years.....

Bizarre.....

She is going to try a phone call today to try and clarify what they are paying on and make sure the MPPI claim is still being looked into......

This does seem odd then if it is MPPI.

Some MPPI is not reclaimable, our experts in this field, magpiecottage and dunstonh are better placed to answer this, start a new thread and title it
" MPPI refund", this way you will get more help, sorry I could not help more.
