Do Asda still price/offer match?

Evening all, I just been to my local Asda in Spennymoor and have been told that ad-match has all been stopped now... Typical was buying my beer as its £10 there and £8 in Morrisons....

Ahh well gotta wait till i go there on Friday...

Can anyone confirm that they deff stopped it or is it just a person at desk trying to save them money????

(Some) Asda stores staff are well known for telling porkies (you should hear some of things I have been told when asking for a £2 gift card due to being overcharged, lol. Hilarious.) If you have any trouble with ad match or getting a gift card just tell them you rang Asda HO before you ventured in teh store and they confirmed that they are still doing it. Seems to work for me...although it is a few weeks since I did it.

i work for asda and the ad mag is no longer advertised,but if you have a leaflet and we have got no offer on we will match the price
some customers do go to the extreme and expect items for nothing
ive seen it all
