My god. I live in the Leeds area and so far HBOS have been difficult to send the info, but at last they did a few days ago, just waiting for the outcome. But it's nice to know that if the banks waste time, they too can be done for it.
Great article0 -

Hope a few more judges do this and slap higher charges on the banks for their time wasting
I don't know why the banks persist in dragging out the process by defending claims instead of just paying up. Rather reminds me of naughty children stamping their feet :rotfl:

Looks like High Court Judges are getting annoyed with Banks and their actions in regards to refunding bank charges.
I hope they hit em with charges!:D

Interesting and somewhat inevitable I think:rolleyes: It's about time all these stalling tactics and "games" by the banks were stopped. They're wasting everyone's time (including the courts') and causing many unnecessary stress and worry.
I hope they're hit hard ... and soon!Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
just read this article and thought i'd post it here..... but clearly was beaten to it!
i have some friends scared to claim back the charges in case the banks take them to court so this should encourage them to get letters sent out!:happyhear0 -

Good luck to them, I cant agree more with the judge, I mean they are clogging up the legal system when they have no intention to go through with it.
Waste of Time, Money and Resources just to call their bluff.0 -
Interesting.
Is it me, or has anyone else noticed that more MCOL claims seem to be getting to the default judgement stage recently? The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
