It was .... but far surpasses my fledgling sewing skills

It was a wonderful gift from a very lovely person

I am hereby (and if I put it in writing with witnesses, I'll have to do it :rotfl:) really going to work on my sewing skills this year .... no excuse not to now I've got the table to sew - I am a total beginner - cushion covers, curtains & pet beds is all I can do so far ie straight lines :rotfl: that aren't even always straight ......

I must hunt around for sewing groups near me .... (note: add to, to do list!)

So ... personal challenge for myself that, by the end of the year, I will be able to make a bag like this myself


Why is it that the bigger the handbag ... the more stuff you have to carry around with you!

Once you've installed it, it automatically has all the books you've downloaded to your Kindle available - fab!:T

hi havent posted for a couple of days but been reading on the tablet.
havent done too bad last few days.

today has been a low spend day had to buy supplies for our date night meal tomorrow night, mexican at home, we have set to have 1 date night a month.
I had got in the habit of putting the heating on for an extra hour during the day but this week i have stopped, had to put on extra layers last couple of days its so cold all of a sudden.
i started a saving pot at the start of the month for any odd bits of money, i have sold a couple of bits and done a few small things but not too much, counted it last night and there £66 in there

Hello all Just had some good news that been approved to do test marking, just hoping contract comes through now!

*Today I have done 5 surveys and claimed VO voucher
*Got yet another phone to recycle via £co
*Compared Car insurance deals - they were going to charge me 100 more as an existing customer, have found a deal for 200 less than that AND £50 cashback! IN THEIR FACE!!!!!
*Now need to pop some bits on Ebay and will be feeling organised
