I think I have messed up my Court Proceeding against natwest & Abbey

Hi,

Without any luck claiming my bank charges back from natwest & abbey I decided to take them to court instead. This is where your all gonna think im a dimwit.

I went onto moneyclaim website, registered and entered the details, but for sum reason I copied & pasted the wrong letter. I have capied & pasted the letter 3 (finaly letter to your bank threatening to take them to court) & I filled in all the blanks. Then I pressed start proceddings. When I realised it I tried to go back but couldn't. So I thought it may work so left it. Now 4 days on, Natwest has acknowleged the claim, but I have a feeling they are gonna out in a defence & im not gonna get a penny back.

Would love any bit of support & well wishes. In total I'm claiming about £800 inc intrest.

Not so blonde bimbo (well I feel like 1 now)

Phone MCOL and ask them, this may cost you £35 per claim to change the details as per the FAQ on MCOL

  • Thanks, Ive printed out the forms & will submit them at lunch. As natwest has already aknowlegde the claim, does this mean when I ammend, it is re servce again, allowing more time? 11 Days ago I filed the same reson for Abbey, but so far (touch wood) they haven't acknowlegded so I will win judgement by default tomorrow.

Also if I do nothing with Natwest, do you think this may result in losing my case? Its just that the £35 amendment will have to go on my credit card & Im trying to cut it down. Obviously if I have to spend another £35 to get the whole £600ish It wil be worth it.

    Would just like some assurance.

    Thanks

    Hey,

Ive got a similar case, started MCOL on 5th April against HSBC, made two seperate claims for two accounts, however when entering the figures i mixed up which charge was on which account. So basically my PoC is all wrong for both claims!!
HSBC Acknowledged on 12th April and they have till 8th May to submit a defence. I'm not sure whether to hang out and wait to see if they submit a defence rather than paying £70 (which i havent really got)!

Although it will be worth paying as im claiming for over £1700!

    Any ideas much appreciated!
