It's a TEFAL PRO EXPRESS. The same model in Argos is £150 but Makro have it on offer at 69.99 plus VAT.
I was a bit boggled by the choice when I got there because they have a wide range of models and prices at moment, with several on special offer.
I chose this one because I like Tefal irons and because the spec was quite good. It's 4 bars and 100g of steam. In comparison to the other models, this seemed the best value.
I've used it today for first time and was really impressed. You only need to go over the garments once, instead of going backwards and forwards to remove creases, this is what saves so much time.
Had to refil the reservoir 3 or 4 times but that was easily done (with a kitchen jug) and not surprising due to the size of my ironing mountain!!
I had a fab tefal iron, not a generator but just as good it could vertical steam and as you say just a quick press and ironing was done. Well it packed in and I replaced it with a more expensive Tefal model but its nowhere near as good. So I might have a look at the Tefal pro Express, it makes such a difference when you've used a really decent iron.
