Just been to Argos, and was told they have updated the offer overnight and it's now only on 'leisure' gift cards. Ie Pizza Hut etc.

I tried Boots and a BHS I got from S but computer said no.

No gift cards for me then. :(

    Pants!:(

I can confirm Sainsburys bubble bath is NOT working this morning.

Tried 2 muscle soak ones and only one discount came off :(

    Double pants! :(

Triple pants being the sada receipt I though was juicy yesterday only had 5 items on it :(

Oh well....off to catch up :)
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

I agree with toilet training. DS (3.5 yrs) is in underpants through the day and has been for about 4 months but still nappies at night. He won't do a No. 2 (!) in the potty or toilet, despite bribing, praising him etc. And almost every night without fail, we have a little (or should i say big) surprise waiting for us about 11pm :o Think he's got into the habit of going at night now. I'm not pushing it at all, it will happen in it's own time. He has asked to wear underpants twice at night and we woke him up throughout to go for a wee and it was all fine but then he wanted nappies back on.

Off to feed tigercub - I'm going to try her on baby rice for the first time

    DS was like this with numbers 2s. We too tried all we could think of but time definitely seemed to be the key. Few things we did try;
We got a book called 'Pirate Pete's Potty' which he loved and wanted read to him every time he sat on the potty. We even managed to get him some glitchy pirate themed pants from Ts :D
He would only poo in a nappy but unlike your DS always went in the morning. When we made sure he was in pants to try and encourage him to go in the potty he just held it in. We cracked before him when we got to 3 days and let him have a nappy to do it in
We did try to get him to sit on the potty with the nappy on to go though as he'd always stood up when going usually and wanted him to get used to sitting.
We knew it would be a case of once he'd got over that first time and got a reward he'd be fine. Every time he asked to go we'd try him on the potty without a nappy first. One day with a lot of encouragement he did it and got a treat of a toy ambulance. Now we're in the position though that he'll try and 'force one out' to get a treat :rotfl: Slowly the treats are getting smaller... one chocolate button. Sure he'll still be asking for a treat when he's done a poo when he's 18 :rotfl:

Good morning all. Well the best laid plans etc. I missed my A's shop and my SW weigh in last night. I'd just got out of the shower when Mum rang. Her partner (D) had developed a really high heart rate, 180+ and very irregular. He is 80, but normally very fit and well. To cut a long story short it was a 999 call, paramedics, and up to the hospital. He had to stay in with a possibility of cardioversion if the drugs to slow his heart rate didn't work. Thankfully his heart rate went back to normal after about 6 hours, so hopefully we can pick him up this morning. Mum was very upset at the time, but is calmer now.
They have been together for 5 years. They were engaged when Mum was 17, but she dumped him to marry my Dad. Dad died and she had resigned herself to being alone. She met D again at a funeral of a friend, after not seeing him for 54 years, and they've been together since. They are so happy together and it is lovely to see.
Tinyshoes, so sorry that your Mum is in such pain. Hopefully the hospice can help, as the staff in hospices are very caring and up to date with the best pain relief methods. I really feel for you, as I went through a similar thing with my Dad. Sending you big hugs hun.
3dogs, glad you are home safe. Give those knees a rest for a few days.:D
Nannylala, what lovely memories you must have, remember them and not the sad times. Sending hugs.
    Hope everyone else is fine.
Sorry for the longish post. Off now to phone the hospital to see if D can come home.
I WILL get to Sada today, I'm determined to spend that apg.:rotfl:

Hope he's feeling better this morning:(I love the story of how they got back together though, that is so lovely:T

Morning everyone:)Lost my mojo a bit yesterday and didnt get out for the 2p bubble bath but well done to everyone that did:TStill resisted the temptation of the Argos cards as well, just need to see if Celebrate did too;)
Working today but am on a mission to try and get as much info as I can about getting rid of sky and getting one of those box thingies that records. I got a discount from them and virgin a few months back but still paying to much (plus side to working for MrLala, can do MSE stuff if its saving him money in work hours:rotfl::rotfl:)
And lost another 1.5lb at SW last night:T:T
Did my car insurance yesterday and managed to get it right down again and £70.70 back from TCB:T:T
Hope everyones ok and big hugs to Tiny :(
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

:eek: DS (who is 3) wanted to watch spiderman so i put on the TV in kitchen and went on youtube (it's a smart TV). I normally put one on for him that is 28 mins long. So i ran upstairs for quick shower. When i came back down, he has somehow changed the Youtube choice of spiderman and was now watching a spiderman lego cartoon with batman and superman in it. All seems fine until I heard the words "you effing a$$hole" from the TV :eek: Seems it's an adult version of spiderman!
So i've just ran in to tell him "quick, I've found some fairy cartoon on TV" and he's hot footed it into the living room. but :rotfl:
I hope to god he doesnt come out with those expletives at some point today :o

Good job he did not put the type of films you like to watch on;):D

I bet you ran very fast to get him away from the tv.

Mines ok. Sounds a bit suspicious though.
