Right as I have some time to get to the shops today I want to try the Argos gift card thing. So as I understand it you go to Argos and buy 40 of boots gift card for 30 then go to boots and buy a visa gift card that costs 2.95 or 3.95 to activate. Then go to tesco and buy Argos gift card and get extra points and then repeat all over again.
So how much profit do you make ( 20 or 15 percent?).
Sorry cant sleep and trying to think how I can make money with this one.
Careful with that plan involving T as I bought some Argos in T yesterday but couldn't use them straight away as they take time to activate. Min 24 hours I'm told but could be up to 3 days. I'm off soon to try and use the T Argos cards to see if they have activated yet.Awaiting a new sig0 -
Good morning campers.
I haven't popped in for few days, but I see from the last few posts that some of us are facing tough challenges at the moment. Nannylala and Tinyshoes, I send you both my best wishes. Nannylala, your post reminded me of something wise the Queen once said, which was that grief is the price we pay for love. Both of you in different ways are being reminded of the truth of this at the moment, but you are both clearly very rich in love, and that is a great gift to have in life. I hope you both have the best day you can today.
Now for a little bargain to cheer us up, for those looking ahead to their holidays. I booked our hire car for Tenerife yesterday and got a phenomenal bargain. Hertz have currently got a 33% off sale, and quidco have got an increased cashback rate of 15% for the next two days. Net of cashback I paid £138 something for an intermediate class car for 13 nights. To put this into context the next cheapest rate I could find for the same period was £207.80 -5% CB, so around £197, and I paid £200 last year, which was a good rate, for a night less. I was very happy and hope that might help someone else.
Back off to catch up a bit, wishing all a good day.Hope is not a strategy.0 -

My understanding is the offer is only on the £10 and £20 cards
Correct but I was wondering yesterday whether a 15 + 25 would work if the till sees 40 in two GCs. i'e equivalent to 2 x 20. Would be helpful for Debs as they don't do 20 for debs.Awaiting a new sig0 -
