You can register for the Big Lunch again for this year. Remember (?) Carling gave a load of free beers for the Jubilee if you had signed up to the Big Lunch. I'm hoping they will do the same offer to celebrate the birth of the Prince/Princess in July! http://www.thebiglunch.com/join-in/join-the-big-lunch-2013.php. I've signed up just in case:D

I have a feeling they will run out! I mean, it's such a no brainer. Some of the brands are rather large and I doubt they will go HMV on us (you never know though), so you could easily make a good saving with Pizza Hut/Pizza Express/Nandos/Boots vouchers if you normally go to such places. More so if such stores tend to do killer deals like Pizza Hut and their online orders, or Boots and their Summer extravaganza/christmas bonus points. So if you have a bit of spare money lying around which you will have having followed all the Sada and Tosco glitches, you might as well invest some of it in these cards. Would be perfect as presents too.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news lol but according to a poster on hduk website they were stopping it tomorrow. This was posted in the last half hour. Don't know if its true or not though. I ve been reading all the posts and thinking to myself what a good deal this is for lots of people. Not as good as DTD ( that was great was n t it ). I almost wished I had an account that needed paying off at Next ( I don't really ) but what a good deal for people who have. I myself would only make use of some Boots ones as I don't shop in places like Next or Debenhams etc as I think they are too dear. Mind you I think Boots is a dear shop too apart from the 75 percent off at Xmas:)

Evening all

Feeling a bit brighter than this morning when I posted :)

Financial advisor has been involved with mortgage company again and escalated through a couple of levels of management. They have agreed to allow us to extend the term of the mortgage so the payments reduce. Not ideal but will save us £150 a moth for now. We're hoping to get out of the mortgage when the early exit fees drop in August so will re evaluate the situation then.

Just back from a whoopsie run at Mr Ts. Whoopsies were rubbish. Bread 'reduced' to £1.04 :rotfl: Weird
Did stock up on a few packs of cereals though. Absolutely loads of the cereals were priced cheaper than usual. White SELs with asterisk but no indication of being a reduced price. Got 500g hot oat cereal for 64p, 1kg everyday value muesli 59p and Ts fruit and fibre for 64p. May well be store specific but worth a look if in Ts

I have been out scanning cereals and the only one I found was Tesco bran flakes - 500 g at 68p. All the others scanned at the usual price, it must be just certain stores :(

You now have £75 prepaid visas for £61.90
Right I am trying to get me head aroun this -

IM also struggling on this one a little too. Now before I start, I know I am wrong and AAU1 is right (as usual) but the giftcards have 25% off, so to get £75 worth (pro-rota) in Argos would cost £56.25, so is this not adding to the costs?? (I.E. but 2x£40 of giftcards, making £80, would only cost you £60 in argos).IYSWIM :o

Can I ask about the prepaid visas at Boots, can they be used anywhere or only in Boots?

I am trying to spreadsheet it at mo but the real money is made on the repeat visits to argos and not having the layout of the activation fees second time around;)
