    Not very MSE.

But as my babies are back at uni, thinking about using the £5 off£25 deal at M&S to buy 2 £10 meal deals plus another£5 worth of goodies.

So that's 2 bottles of wine, 2 mains - one of which is a chicken, 2 sides, 2 desserts plus another£5 spend for £20.:)

No cooking for me this weekend:)

I just did exactly that with MrLala:TBut found some big gammon joints whoopsied to 1/2 price and they were 1/3 off on special to start with;)So used a voucher and got a few of them (Or rather MrLala did, he pays for anything from M&S;)) And we had a lovely SA who let us use 2 vouchers and took the parking 80p off twice as well;)

Me too  I get vertigo. Although I have forced myself up the World Trade Center. It was blowing a gale that day and we just managed to get out on the observation deck before they shut it down (took some brilliant pics but forgot to put the film in my camera ). I've still got a day pass that han't been used for the WTC :(
Also been up the Eiffel Tower (forgot my camera )

When MrLala,Nannylala and DS went on the London Eye I sat at the bottom and watched,I'm petrified of heights:o

    Hi ya,
Cheeky question but do you mind if I join you?
I've been 'stalking (for want of a better word ) your sparkly Christmas thread for a couple of weeks and wanted to possibly join earlier.
Only just realised I've been browsing all this time as any unregistered member hence me being a brand new user.
So if it's OK can I maybe stay?
Would love to have people to chat to :)

Hi and welcome :) I wouldn't worry about being weird, I think its a requirement on this thread :D

Hmmmmm. I have a week off at the end of march. The powers that be at wok would rather I didnt take that week off, so I have been looking at flights for a few days away. I would come back to my job being in a different place with a different company.

Problem is that I might well end up going on my own as the person I want to go with isn't too sure he can go yet. Reckons he'll know in the next couple of weeks.

So, do I buy the flights anyway and have a break before the job stuff, and just enjoy a few days on my own, book them anyway and hope my trend says yes or wait til he lets me know either way and end up paying more for the flights because I waited?

Welcome dipdap:) It took me ages to get used to the abbreviations. I am one of the ones that thought TIA was someones name:o:rotfl:In the end I used to ask my DS or google them. You'll soon get used to whats what and just shout if you don't understand something:)

I was ok on the London eye as long as I didn't go too close to the windows and look straight down. My worst thing are cable cars or any rides that are suspended like a cable car. I love Disneyworld but am petrified of most of the big rides and watch my DD and DH go on without me and am perfectly happy with that.:D
