Mullers are 65p or 6 for £3/10 for £4 but it doesn't show on MSM and compares at the 65p price against Waitrose at 4 for £2 and Tesco and Sainsburys at 6 for £3:)

See last time I bought some here

A modest return but if you were going to buy them anyway:T

Msm didn't show the w offer earlier today (but its Msm so it could have changed by now :rotfl: ) but I would check before you compare to them

Yes I've not caught up recently.

In that 1st week the surgeon saw her and her hands were partly save able but not her legs - sorry its so awful I can't even type the words but it was below the knee.
Last week was equally dreadful, she was on such a strong cocktail of drugs and pain killers it made her very agitated and almost demented. In the middle of this, even with an air pipe in the hospital staff told her what had happened. She could not cope with this and convinced herself she had been in a car accident and she fretted about her handbag and the shopping etc.
This week there has been a major improvement, out of bed and in a wheelchair, only one one meds and mainly only fretting about her hands, their colour and the exercises she has to do.
It's miraculous how the human body has the power to rejuvenate itself, adapt and adjust.
And out of the blackest of situations there is always a silver lining. BF talked to his bosses and got a tempory transfer so he is now back home, working local so he can visit his mum, help his dad and back at the flat with my eldest so things are much easier - last year he was working away and just home at weekends so they were both permently stressed out.

How awful, such sad news for the family x

Waitrose offer still shows on mine, but I do agree, always best to check the offer is still there just before you pop to the shops:)

Just a thought, may be the Muller item you were looking at was one that Waitrose didn't stock? may be that was why the offer didn't show for you?

A shame that they don't sell gift cards for Mr Ts (unless someone knows different), as you could then buy Argos gift cards from Mr Ts, use in Argos to buy some Mr Ts gift cards ... use those in Mr Ts as part of your shop to buy more Argos ... rinse and repeat ... picking up extra points and increasing your value by 25% on each :j. I am sure that they have thought of that though as no doubt you can't use gift cards to buy gift cards (though apparently in Argos you can, or at least some have), but I can dream :).

You would just need one of them where you could then use the gift card to pay off a balance/build up a balance that you could then get refunded/withdraw and kerrching - your very own money making machine .

Of course, if you found the right store with the right offers on, you could cash out through a game, mobile phone or console trade in (e.g. CEX), if the cash price was right. An alternative approach would be to use cash in Mr Ts to buy Argos gift card, Argos gift card to buy XXX gift card for a store that you wanted to buy an item from in the first place - a sort of chain transaction to leverage your initial money.

I've still got £35 of love2 vouchers to use up. On the website it says you can use them in Argos - has anyone done this?

I am thinking wether its possible to go to Argos, use £30 to get £40 of boots gift cards.
Then go to boots and buy Argos gift cards - what value do these come i?
Then take the new Argos cards back to Argos to get more boots gift cards.
    Is this fantasy?

Also in our Argos they seem to have sort of pre pay machines, not sure if you can pay for gift cards through these machines though or wether you can use gift cards as a method of payment.

Another though - if tosco are issuing conditional spends till spits again can you use them to buy £50 of Argos gift cards?

Also if you have an excess of nectar points you can buy gift cards in Sainsburys - I just add one to my shopping basket as it takes your shopping is over £20 for BMs.

Jeez Louise Mhoc!!!! what an awful time she is having (and you and your family). It's horrible living at the hospital, going in and out but still having to carry on some kind of normality. I'm sending you a massive hug, i really feel for you and I send strength and positive thoughts to your MIL.

Yes this looks to be a good camera. It has a High MP, High Optical Zoom (digital zoom is a waste of time), can shoot HD video and is a Nikon, so a well established brand. He could do a lot worse.

For me, I would prefer to have a camera with a Flip Out Screen, makes it so much easier to shoot holding the camera low or high which makes shots much more creative. Also, the motorised zoom for me is just not quick enough to get from tight to wide angle. It can also be limiting when using the video mode (I would have to check whether it can be used on this camera whilst using video, if it can't then when you are recording video you are stuck with the lens in one place so if you want to zoom in or out you use your feet or you stop filming, zoom, then start again). Also the motorised zoom can drain the batteries if you use it alot.

I have a fuji, so can only really comment on them, but would say to look at the FujiShop, which sell refurbished cameras and have this:

    http://shop.fujifilm.co.uk/finepix-hs20-refurbished.html

which is a fair bit more at £169.99.

However, it is much more like a DSLR type camera.

It has a twisty manual zoom, so it is quiet, fast, doesn't drain batteries and can be used with the video mode. It has a load of manual and auto settings so can teach him about photography, takes AA batteries (so cheap to buy more if you need to when out and about instead of having to charge a camera specific battery, but you can use rechargable AA's too to keep the cost down) and will let him take loads and loads of photos.

But the Nikon would still be agreat camera.

    HTH
    thanks
